Statue of Liberty

 This year in school we have learned about Emma Lazarus who wrote the  poem on the  pedestal  for the statue of liberty. It's title is the The New Colossus. Lola liked listening to the story on the headsets, we didn't get to listen to all of it and so she is excited about the idea of coming again on a warmer day to see some more.

 What an amazing way to introduce the Doll to Broadway- The Lion King has been on Broadway since 1997. Luckily our hotel had some deals on seats. We took her brothers to see it when it came to Denver, and now to take her to see it was really sweet. She said it was the best play she has ever seen.
