Thank You Becky & Tina!

Thank you to Becky and Tina for the sweet shower on Saturday May 20th. It has been so much fun having people over to see the nursery. I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends.

Just add Baby

The finishing touches have been added to the baby's room. The closet was even upgraded to handle the overflow of goodies that princess prewitt has received.

Baby play room

Here is what our playroom looks like. We have lots of baskets to store all the cool yet oddly shaped toys. The playpin has a changing table attached. We have a diaper genie close by and some of our first diapers. We still need to add some blinds; you may have noticed all of the sunlight.

Thank You Suzanne & Diem!

My charming friend Suzanne gave us a shower at our house so that people could see the nursery. It was such fun with only the few of us. Diem made an adorable (and delicious) Noah's Ark cake.

7 weeks left

So we only have seven weeks left until we meet Lola. Candace is weighing 151 and has a 42 inch belly. The child birthing classes are going well. We get to have a tour on the 18th. The room is all ready for our little princess. The dogs are both so curious with all of Lola's things. They have to investigate all of her new toys and clothes. We turned the front room into a play room where we have a little sofa, the baby swing and the baby's playpin/bassinet. The cat has been seen sleeping in her bassinet.

Thank You Preschool Staff

The wonderful women I work with at the Preschool gave me a lovely breakfast shower at LePeeps on the 6th of May. Baby Lola says thank you!

Spring Flowers

Here are some tulips we have planted in the front. One in particular is so unique. We also have our first tree! It is a Canadian Red Cherry. Right now it has beautiful white flowers that smell delicious.

Shower fun!

One of the games we played was to guess how big Candace's tummy had grown. The children measured out how long of a ribbon they thought would wrap around her belly. Well, only one girl made hers long enough! It was really cute. Little Lola sure received many sweet gifts. The new mommy has been trying to get it all organized before she gets here.

Showering Babies with Love

Candace had a very sweet shower at the church on April 23 hosted by Jamie Whetstone. Guests were asked to bring donations of baby items to give to the local food bank. It was amazing how quickly two tables filled with diapers, formula and baby food jars. The shower was such a success that the local papers heard of the love given by the church and an article was written to encourage other women having showers to consider having a mission to the food bank too!
