Hiking with Bubba Adam

With a rainy day ahead we weren't sure how much hiking we would get done. It rained all the way to the gorge ( a rock climbing place). Then stopped once we parked at the top... So we hiked down and back to chimney rock. Then Lola wanted to keep going so we went down one called the princess arch trail. There's the picture of the two of them under it. Hiking around for two miles with a two year old was wonderful. She was so into picking leaves and smelling the flowers and checking out the crazy mushrooms. So speaking of mushrooms, once we headed back to the jeep, it started raining again. It was nice that God gave us a short window of rainbreak to hike around. What a beautiful place. Afterwards we went to miguels pizza for a very strangely topped pizza.

Granny's POOL!

One really fun thing about going to Granny's house in the summer is the pool! She was excited to show Granny and Papaw the fish skills she has in the water.

We had a great day at the lake with Uncle Brian And Aunt GiGi. The water baby of course never wanted to get out of the lake. She liked driving the boat of course too.

Pick your own strawberries

Whether they taste as good as store bought is never a question. It's all about the funnnn! Lola loved hunting for and picking her own berries. She looked so sweet in the field. Thanks granny for a fun afternoon :)

Golf cart excitement....There's not guidelines for a two year old cruisin the course (they probably frown on it..).... She loved it.

Off to Granny's

Carrying her backpack around for a day and half Ms Lola was very excited to be going to Kentucky to see her family. She packed and repacked her bag. Then (Luckily for mom) she slept most of the flight.

Making some necklaces

Life around the little white table.... we have so much fun around Lola's little white. We play playdough, pretend kitchen, do coloring, and make beaded necklaces. It's the most popular place in the place.
