Taylorsville Lake

A quiet walk in the woods was nice following our candy indulgence at Rebecca Ruth. We were checking out how the boat docks were at Taylorsville.http://parks.ky.gov/parks/recreationparks/taylorsville-lake/ It was such a great day for hiking.

Rebecca Ruth Candy Factory

 We enjoyed a sweet little tour of the candy factory and then of course a few samples to taste. The museum of the old candy machines was pretty interesting.

Japanese Garden

We enjoy finding new places to visit. Life's Adventures. The Japanese Garden was so beautiful with the trees in bloom. We liked spying the turtles sunning themselves in the pond. & of course the two sumo's were pretty funny.

Cinderella Play

We were off to the Theater tonight. A girls night with her friend and her mom. The play was really funny. We enjoyed a night out!

Herb Garden relocating

 Last year we were so excited to get anything to grow in our garden, that we just let anything grow where ever it wanted. So, we learned from experience that the herbs sorta need their own space. Especially the mint! So we transplanted them over to a new little bed . Then we added the little sproutlings of broccoli to the garden now that all the dirt has been moved.

 We wanted to let Lola's Sunday School Teacher know how much she means to us so we had her over for lunch. We made homemade chicken pot pies and thumbprint cookies.
