Pottery Decorating with GS

We had a nice outing to a paint your own pottery place with our Girl Scouts. Lola made a couple of Christmas presents of Christmas tree ornaments. They turned out very cute. 

Krohn's Christmas Show

There is such beauty in the natural display decorations made to bring holiday cheer to the community. The huge tree in the entrance  is so lovely. We just stand around looking and looking at its handmade ornaments.

Breakfast in Bethlehem with a dear angel

What a great way to let the children experience the manger first hand by having photos there. Lola always picks to dress up like an angel. 

Cincinnati Zoo

Usually we go to the light show way later in the night thinking that the lights would show up better in the dark of night. This year we happened to be going by early and thought lets just go now when it opens. That turned out to be the best idea. The lights did show up great and the pictures turned out much better than from years before. Also, the crowds weren't there yet so it was much nicer to go through with fewer people. What a beautiful way to spend time together enjoying a winter night.

Sleeping Beauty

Mom date:) While dad was away on a work trip we had a lovely girls night out at the live theater. Nothing is better than seeing the stage come alive. Great job Ensemble Theater:)

Christmas Cards

Using our hands and hearts we came up with a sweet little Christmas Card for this year. Lola wanted to help with the designing of it this year. She now has a full understanding of the print making business. This looks like the last year for her hand print to be the cover of a card as it now fills up the whole thing. :)
