Mosaic Lesson

Learning something new all the time. Our friend had us over to learn about mosaic making. It was so nice to learn hands on and to see what lovely designs the children made. Lola's cross is now hanging in her bathroom.

How fun is it for little one's to create something for their friends. Our little doll had a birthday party to attend this weekend so she sewed up a sweet little flower for her friend. I sewed her a bag and then we added her embroidered flower to the front for a pocket. Inside were some art supplies to use for her friend.

The Doll was heard agreeing that 'we don't have this kind of fun at our house.' She was so proud of being able to help her granny with the leaf raking. She did really enjoy jumping into the piles, but she was so genuinely excited to help. I am so happy with this child of mine.

This year's field trip was quite a bit warmer than the one from last year. We enjoyed our time at Evan's Orchard. The kids really love going to play on the farm playground, especially the mound of dirt with the climbing ropes. I just love their cider and of course the apple donuts.:)
