We ventured out to see some new places today. Hiking around the city we found a hidden park on top of the city, that Lola's calling our secret park. She doesn't want anyone to know:) The fall rain is creeping in on us and several of the trees had started turning yellow. We had an amusing stroll around the 'city' pond where Lola found some exoskeletons. We eventually made it to glass studio where the Doll made an awesome Butterfly. She topped her day off with being a Native American and squeezing into her old moccasins that Grandpa had made her last year. ( We may need to add a bigger foot piece soon:)

Animals at General Butler State Park
Flock of Turkeys |
We sure had a lot of luck seeing animals on our adventure today. What a fun place to visit. The train ride was our absolute most favorite train ride ever! A must for any little one and their tag along grownup.

Catching the last of the summer sun
How cute is that! Our little foster kitty is such a sweetie. He layed in Lola’s bed waiting for her to wake up. We had a nice day outside. We went to the Y for a dip in the outdoor pool and then played at the park.

Emi - world famous Rhino |
Penguin |
Our morning was spent at the zoo. Lola has been trying to take a picture of the Sumatrian Red Rhino for dad. Luckily, we found her out taking a mud bath. Who ever is in charge of landscaping at the zoo always does a fabulous job and we look forward to enjoying the plants and flowers as much as the animals. Today there were many animals available for close encounters. After the zoo we had lunch then made our way over to the glass studio for story time. It was a lovely day
