Wharf with a friend.
One of our friends from Denver was in town for Thanksgiving so we met her and hung out on the pier for the afternoon. Lola loved getting to ride on the carousel and taking home a teddy bear bread. But she was surprised to see Santa sitting in the Boudin Bread factory. She had a turn to see him and asked for a Princess game for Christmas. Santa asked her if she brushes her teeth and goes to bed when she's suppose to, and if she listens to her mom and dad. She said yeah and that she was a good girl.

6 flags!
What fun we have had with our season passes to 6 flags. They had a winter wonderland event where there was a snow hill to ride sleds down. We all had a nice time. Lola was a little upset when one of the 'fancy' girls came to sing to daddy during the chorus show. They were singing Santa baby and put a Santa hat on him. She still talks about how she didn't like it. They had a huge Christmas tree in the front and lots of other real trees everywhere decorated for the Holidays.

Design-Cut-Assemble-Mail
The card process has begun for this year's Christmas Card. Since mommy's been so into fabric and sewing this year, it was only natural that the cards would reflect that a little.... Cutting and sewing felt trees this year was a fun project because Lola enjoyed helping decorate all the little trees, she added all the angels too! We would do a few a night to make enough for our friends and family. Look for your finished original in the mail soon! Merry Christmas!

1st Curler night
For the fun of it, we went to walmart and picked up some foam rollers and rolled up the Doll's hair. She thought it was so fun. Then the next morning she had some curly locks. :)

Slipped away to the aquarium
Slipping away for an afternoon of fish gazing was just what the girls needed, so we captured Daddy from work. We went down to Monterrey to enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon. We saw several fish that we hadn't noticed before one was this
another was this that is related to an octopus
We were sad that the sun fish was not there. Also the Great White Shark was missing. So later the next day I went on the aquariums website and they said they had just released it the day before! Crazy... We did have a great time and a wonderful dinner at a restaurant we tried. Lola thought the room looked like a Ball room from Cinderella. Lola and Daddy also went for a night time stroll on the beach. The Doll thinks she might have found a shark tooth:)
